They are great rivals of fellow western suburbs sides like the Toros and White City. Strikers have a number of strong junior sides. They are known for their flamboyant celebration moves.
==History==

The club was founded in 1980 under the name of VC Woodville City Junior Soccer Club with a complement of three junior teams. – u/10, u/11 and u/12.
The six founding members were G.Leonardi, J.Carbone, M.Mirabelli, P.Corbo, A.Manou & J.Pellizari.
In 1994 the club fielded a senior team for the first time which played in the SA Amateur league. In 1996 the club fielded u/19 and u/23 teams in the SASF competition. In 1998 they fielded 3 senior teams.
